She/he will collaborate with all sectors of society to build a culture of risk reduction. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES and TASK: Programme Management: Overall responsible for Emergency Management and Developmental Programs of AKAH India at national level. Advises the Chief Executive Officer on all Emergency Management matters, related laws, rules, regulations, and all other strategic initiatives. Develops, organizes, directs, and coordinates the overall Emergency Management and Developmental Programs with the goal of enhancing the quality of life of people of targeted communities, saving lives and protecting property by maintaining emergency operational capabilities that mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from any emergency or disaster. Position Summary The Regional Security Coordinator (RSC) will be responsible for ensuring safety, security, and risk management for the Aga Khan Health Services in Pakistan (AKHSP) in the Chitral Region Reporting to the security manager, the RSC will implement AKHS risk management strategies, policies, procedures, and standards within the assigned area of responsibility (AOR) under strategic direction. Key Responsibilities Security Management and Planning Implement the AKHS safety and security management system, in line with the AKDN Security Level System (SLS), and provide regional level direction on safety and security policies, procedures, and standards. Implement and ensure compliance with the mandated (SLS) assessments, procedures, plans, and mechanisms appropriate to regional threat levels. Assess, advise, and monitor the planning, implementation and quality control of AKHSP security manpower, technical assets, and physical protection measures across regional facilities. Disseminate regional level security advisories, as appropriate. Develop and maintain a strong contextual understanding of AKHSP operations in the AOR. Provide regional level inputs to the CSM for the annual audit and Initiate identified remedial audit actions. Manage regional communications, call trees, alerts, and notifications. Private Security Advise the SM on the selection of sub- contracted security service companies (guards/technical security/response). Manage the activities and performance of contracted private security providers in accordance with AKHSP policies, established KPIs, and the service agreement. Conduct quarterly, or as required, review meetings with the private security company. Support Investigate safety and security breaches and non-compliance.
